Sugar Dev-User Group initial session

Hi all, visit this forum over the next day or two as we're in the final throes of setting up the inaugural Sugar Dev-User Group session.

More details soon but you can count on this: Wednesday, November 15th at noon CST (10am PST; 1pm EST) for the first session, a web conference. For the folks in EMEA and AsiaPac we'll record the session for later review.

In the future , could it be possible to push it forward an hour our so? This will make it easier for EMEA to participate?

Hi stevec, yes, we know that the noon timeframe can make it tough for EMEA (and for AsiaPac). We have to accommodate kbrill's busy day as he is leading the first session. (Ken (kbrill) and Max (umeco) have been instrumental in driving this effort.)

I'll take special care to ensure a quality recording results from the session and for future sessions to be more accommodating to our friends overseas.

We already have 18 people registered for the first event. Seats are going fast as we want to limit the participation in the first event in order to ensure a successful outcome.

We had previously planned to limit the registration at 25 but I think we can go a little beyond that, to 40 or so. I think this is a manageable number of participants.

The time in this topic and the time specifified in the seminar page do not match. One says 10 AM PST, the other 6 PM PST, respectively?

But the webinar is at 10am PST; noon CST; 1 PST on November 15th.
