how to connect sugarCRM with a java application

Hi

I want connect sugarCRM application with a java application.
To connect one sugar application with another sugar application we simply use nusoap, set_entry etc.
But now i want to connect with another application written in java.
How should i proceed , what are the credentials needed for this application .
Any body guide me please !
