I am new to SugarCRM so please excuse me if I ask basic questions.

I understand that there is Email facility within SugarCRM to pull emails from a standard IMAP/POP Server. So

(1) Can sugarcrm cache emails once fetched or it is always online? I have some accounts with particularly large inboxes so would prefer caching.
(2) Can the email settings for a particular account be set automatically or is that it has to be set manually from the mail page.
(3) If mail feature is not installed within sugarcrm, can it be installed at a later date ?
(4) And finally, any particular recommended Mail software that we can use as a backend for Mails for SugarCRM?
