    Default Bugs getting arbitarily closed!

This is a rant, be warned.

This bug below was closed with ***no*** explanation!

Why should we go to the bother of finding, analysing and reporting bugs, with accompanying code solutions if you are going to arbitarily just close them, again with *No* explanation?

Time and effort was invested in finding and anaylsing the root cause of this particular bug, that seems to have afflicted multiple users. In addition, tested code suggestions were made for resolution.

Please do me the courtesy of describing why there is "No plan for resolution".

    Bug concerned:

Ran Zhou has updated a bug:

    Bug Number: 31522
Subject: POP3 - "Message Deleted from Server" error
    Priority: Low
    *Status: Closed
    Type: Defect
    *Fixed in Release:
    *Resolution: No Plan to Implement

    (*) denotes an updated field

You may communicate with the engineer assigned to this Bug by posting a Note here:

    End of Rant

    Hello pcarew,

you will want to get answers directly from Sugar, but my guess as to why they closed your Bug probably has to do with the fact the Sugar plans to remove POP3 in the newest releases: http://www.sugarcrm.com/forums/showthread.php?t=52574.
