I can no longer see any of my documents after my upgrade to 4.5.1e. Here's what happened, but I can't see how to fix the problem and would appreciate any help I can get.
When I upgraded (from 4.5.0c), I ran into a problem (documented in this forum thread) where, although the database had been upgraded, the system did not think it had. I resolved the problem by restoring the previous version of my system (which I had saved), rerunning the upgrade process and this time letting the upgrade overwrite my changes to several module layouts, which I then recreated. I pointed the appropriate config files to the upgraded code and the upgraded database (so I still have a working version of the previous system.)
Now, when I look in the documents module, I no longer see any documents. A blank search turns up no documents. Clicking the "Select" button on the Advanced Search screen shows a very nice tree structure of my documents, apparently correct. Selecting a document does nothing.
When I check the /cache/upload directory, the document are there, and the document ID's are the same as the ones in my pre-upgraded directory, other than those that have been added/updated since I upgraded the system. Note that I don't see any documents in the upgraded version, even those that were updated/added since the upgrade.
When I check the MySQL database, the documents are listed, and the document ID's are apparently correct.
Why can't I see any of the documents in SugarCRM?
System is running:
- Fedora Core 5
- PHP 5.1.6
- MySQL 5
- Apache 2.0
Michael
