Converting from beta to Release version

Hi all - We inadvertently installed SugarCRM Commun Edition Ver 6.4.0 Beta 4 and put approx 85 hours into it to customize screens, fields, import data etc etc. and currently have it in Production.
Now we see that Beta releases are primarily meant for Testing.
WHEN 6.4.x is available as a Release Version, will we be able to "upgrade" from a 6.4.0 Beta to that new Release version? Asking because I see notes that say Upgrades from one Beta to another are not available. Hoping that Upgrades from Beta to Release are available when the time comes ...

Traditionally, there aren't any formal upgrade paths (or instructions) provided. You are pretty much left to your own resources to upgrade a Beta to production. Personally, I think it is a bit irresponsible on the part of Sugar to promote the Beta so prominently because it causes problems exactly like this.
