On-Demand to On-Site "500 Internal Server Error"

Hello all
I have been asked to customize an sugarCrm instance which currently On-Demand version,
The company backup the application db + app and i downloaded it to my computer.

1. i created mysql instance db and extracted the script + data
2. i copied the application folder (after unzip it) to the "htdocs/instanceName"
3. i updated the :
+ site_url
+ host_name
+ dbconfig associate array

now, when i try to login the application
this is what i get :

anyone has an idea ??

system information:
- sugar_version : 6.6.1 (??)
- os : windows 7
- apache
- mysql

You will most likely need to edit the .htaccess file as described in step 7 here: Migrating From On-Demand to On-Site - SugarCRM Support Site. You may also need to clear your browser cache after doing so.

Please note that the 6.6 version is considered an On-Demand only release as mentioned in the overview of the same article and here: Supported Platforms - SugarCRM Support Site. This means that running the instance as a production application on any other server is not supported and any customizations to the On-Demand instance will need to be loaded through the Module Loader utility.

What do you mean by that ?
I know i can customize my client's sugarcrm instance in 2 ways :
1. using sugar crm admin (probebly the Module Loader utility you talked about)
2. download to my server, create a test/stage environment ("on-site") and then upload it to sugarcrm servers ("on-demand")

so what will happen on version 6.6 ??
we won't be able to use #2 ? is so - how can we create a test environment and create our own customization ?

Anything that can be achieved in the application (Studio/Module Builder) is still supported and possible.
For item 2 though, we will not load an instance that is customized for an On-Demand-specific release. All file level customizations should be packaged into a module loadable .zip file. Our developer guide has examples on how to package various customizations to be module loadable:
