Default Fatal error: Out of memory

Im having trouble installing the new SugarCRM community edition system. My first error was 'Minimum PHP version required is 5.2.0. You are using PHP version 4.4.9' and that was resolved by using .htaccess file being uploaded into the root folder with the code -- AddType x-mapp-php5 .php. That solved the problem as i got the installation page running but when actual instalation started to run, the follwing error occured
    ' Creating default users... done
    Creating default scheduler jobs... done

Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 30146560) (tried to allocate 2223 bytes) in /homepages/18/d126962105/htdocs/SugarCE-Full-6.4.0beta1/modules/Administration/SugarSpriteBuilder.php on line 465'

I am using 1&1 server. Is there anything that can be done. Please help

Their PHP memory_limit seems to be 32M, which is quite low. You should contact your host and ask them if it is possible to increase the memory_limit to at least 64M (preferably 128M).

If they refuse, you may need to find a host which fully supports SugarCRM
