Default Getting error 324 when installing...

This probably has something to do with the fact that I cant adjust php settings on this server (free host).. but when I get to a certain point (where I imagine the actual installation begins - right after initial configuration), it gives me
"Error 324 (net::ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE): The server closed the connection without sending any data."

Why? What am I doing wrong?

    are you using chrome?

    Have you restarted the webserver?

Have you talked to your host about it, have you/they looked at the logs for any errors at that end.

    Hey Kenneth,

thanks for taking the time to help me. I am using chrome (though I tried this in opera and ie8 as well and encountered the same issue). The host wont be much help as Im using a free host and they've stated quite clearly that "what you see is what you get" as far as server settings go. From what I can tell the zend/php parameters are all in order for sugar, but there is one warning I encounter - to adjust the php upload max to >6mb. If it helps at all, Im using 000webhost.com

    Thanks

yeah, there was a bug in Chrome that did this recently but if you get it in opera then its not that.

Without a more detailed understanding of the server there isnt a whole lot left to do. The only thing I can tell you is that it probably isnt SugarCRM, its probably something in the .htaccess file I think.

Your only real option might be to try another host to eliminate the possibility that it is something local to your end.
