I uploaded all files from Sugar 6.3.0 by FTP and set the correct access rights by chmod.
During the installation process, the install.php simply stopped on a white page. I think somehow the config.php wasn't writable even if it was set to chmod 777.
I tried to add some database settings manually and finally managed an installation. But when I tried to change some admin settings, they haven't been written to the config.php.
I deleted everything and tried all over again. Same thing happened - the install.php stopped on a white page as the config.php somehow couldn't be accessed - even being 777.

Can anybody help me?
