Install step 6... Wont load next page!

Hi there,

I am having some difficulty with the SugarCRM installation. When I get to step 6 and push next the next page will not load. I just get "This page can not be displayed" ?

I think its a problem with my apache setup, but am not sure.

I had a problem earlier in the setup that may shed some light on this... when I browse to a folder containing a php file, eg: http://localhost/crm (the location of my surgar install) it wont load the index.php. However if I add the index.php to the path (http://localhost/crm/index.php) it works just fine!!!

I have a feeling step 7 is maybe trying to enter a directory with an index.php or attempting to execute a php file indirectly?

I'm a little stuck, php is obviously installed and working because I can get this far so I am not sure what to try next?!

Any help would be appreciated.

EDIT: When trying to install from FireFox (Redhat) it prompts me to "Save As" the install.php when I click next on page 6. Thought this might help?

I'm having EXACTLY the same problem. IE says page cannot be found, Firefox wants to download install.php

Running Apache 2, MySQL 3.23 PHP5.

Anyone any ideas? This is pretty annoying as it took 4.5 hours to upload; speaking of which, why can't the files come in tar.gz format instead of me having to download a zip, extract it then upload everything!!!!

Is your memory_limit value set to at least 32MB in your php.ini file? See this thread for more details.

My php upload limit was fine.

I have fixed my problem, it ended up bring DNS related... bizzar that it let me get to step 7 with no problems, however there was a typo in my httpd.conf - once that was fixed it worked with no problems.
