    Is it possible that the apache server has not the right to access the SugarCRM files? Check the file system settings in the windows explorer.

    I found an old version of SugarCrm and on load I got this message
    Minimum Php version required is 5.1.0. Recommended Php version is 5.2.x. for version SugarCE-Full-5.2.0e

    phpMyAdmin says The mysqli extension is missing. Please check your PHP configuration.

    php.ini
    extension_dir="J:\php\php\ext\"
    extension="php_mysql.dll"
    extension="php_mysqli.dll"

    $pwd
    /cygdrive/j/php/php/ext

    $ls *mysql*.dll
    php_mysql.dll php_mysqli.dll php_pdo_mysql.dll

    I there some kind of diagnostic that I can run?

    recreated php.ini and now I am able to run until I get "No data support" and "mbstring not enabled" I don't have a clue.
