Login problems

Hey there!

Just installed sugarcrm 6.2.4 from a faststack installer. Everything went just fine, installation wizard completed without problems. After lauching the service it directs me to the database configuration and thats where i hit the wall. It keeps telling me the following:

"The provided database host, username, and/or password is invalid, and a connection to the database could not be established. Please enter a valid host, username and password."

As im running it from my computer, i assume that the "hostname" should be "localhost" ?
Passwords & all that stuff are the same what i wrote to the faststack installer, so why it keeps saying that they are not correct?

You could try 127.0.0.1 instead of localhost.

There is a difference between the database and the Sugar installation itself. Both usually have different usernames and passwords. In your case the connection to the database is not configured properly (and maybe you are trying to use the Sugar account).

Thanks for the reply. Found a solution of using different passwords & manually starting MySql. For some reason MySql didnt start as it should have after/during installation.
