Problem with incoming email settings (Microsoft Exchange)

I use Microsoft Exchange which runs fine and Id like to use Sugar CRMs email system. Ive set everything up correctly Monitored Folders / Trash Folders / Sent Folders it shows the folders out of my Microsoft Exchange so appears to be correctly connecting but then when I click Test Settings it comes up with the following:


"Connection failed to pod51017.outlook.com,993: Connection timed out
Please check your settings and try again. "

Im not sure what to do now, does anyone have any suggestions please?

Try using this test script from my blog (Angel's Blog: SugarCRM Troubleshooting: IMAP Connectivity), using the same email settings you are providing in Sugar. Execute it on the Sugar server.

This should help you determine if it is a more generic issue with the server, PHP or Sugar.
