Guys,

am having terrible trouble trying to install V5 RC on a plesk environment. Can anyone help?

I have checked other posts about this and people are talking about relationships (rebuilding them - done) and modules - modifying them. I do not have anything in the cache/modules folder - is that correct?

any ideas would be helpful - we are really in a hurry for this.

Same to me with the Official Release.
Installation was running fine! Without Errors. All Tables where created.

But after trying to login this error is displayed:
"Query Failed: AND users.id = '1'::MySQL error 1064: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'AND users.id = '1'' at line 1"

Any workaround ?

System:
MySQL 5.0.18
PHP 5.1.2

I get the same error at login.
From Sugarcrm.log I have the following report:

01/16/08 09:44:13,255 [580] FATAL SugarCRM - Error fetching relationship from cache contacts_users
01/16/08 09:44:13,257 [580] FATAL SugarCRM - MySQL error 1064:


After this, I check that CONTACTS gives the same error.
But I had already performed all Repair actions

I get the same thing on a fresh 1 and 1 install. Can't get to home page or contacts???

Hello, all -

I was wondering if you could provide me with the following information to try to develop a common thread for this problem:

- the output of my.ini / my.cnf
- the output of: select @@global.sql_mode;

I initially thought this could be the result of having STRICT_*_TABLES engaged, but I don't seem to be able to reproduce this locally via that setting.

I'm having the exact same issue. I specifically got a virtual dedicated at GoDaddy because they met all of the specs to run Sugar. The installation goes smooth. Everything works up until the point when it asks me to specify my timezone and I click save and then BOOM I get this same error message everyone else gets.

Same problem, I would love to use the system, but after spending 5-6 hours reinstalling and trying different ways of setting up the db and the users in mySQL I have had to move on. I will check back, hopefully there is a resolution soon.

p.s. Just a thought, but is anyone having this problem that is not using plesk as a server management interface?

If Plesk is the issue, I'll pay the extra $5/month and have godaddy reprovision my server with cpanel. Everybody here is using Plesk? I'm using 8.2 if that helps.
