    Default System Environment

    Dear community,

I would like to build up a SugarCRM system environment which consists of the following two systems:

    1. Development/Test
    2. Production

The 1st one will be used to customize the application, to install software patches and for testing. When the development and the testing cycle is finished the changes from the 1st system shall be populated to the 2nd system (production). Of course while the software changes and customizations are populated the production data (accounts, contacts, campaigns, ...) must not be overwritten.

I tried to find something in the forums but I momentarily I have no clue how to approach this. Maybe you can direct me in the correct direction.

    Thank you,

    Peter

Yes that is all possible using the Studio on the 'Test Server' with the button 'Export Customisations' to export the settings as a module.
The reimport with Module Loader on the production env.
