Test sending of e-mail works, fails on new user creation

Hi there.

I just installed 6.5.5. Everything seems to be working. I am able to send a test e-mail to any address from admin->e-mail settings. I am using an SMTP server.
When I create a new user, I get a message:
Cannot send password
System is unable to process your request. Please check:
-SMTP Server URL and Port
-SMTP Username and SMTP Password
-Recipient Email Address
-Your server status

Me Too , same issue!
Email checked and working including tests sending out emails without a problem.
also, the same version exactly works on my test servers and sends passwords as it should,
but in godaddy production server, getting the above message although all email tests passed.
SugarCRM.log says nothing.

did you solve this? anyone solved this?

You can try on your admin panel --> email settings --> field: "From" Name: "SugarCRM"

Go to admin you use on "From" name : SugarCRM.
