Unhappy Unable to upgrade 6.1.5 to 6.2.4, sailentupgrade failed

    Hi all,

I am tring to upgrade my 6.1.5 sugar installation.

My first tentative was to upgrade to 6.2.4 so I downloaded SugarCE-Upgrade-6.1.x-to-6.2.4.zip and silentUpgrade-CE-6.2.4.zip

I placed the silentUpgrade-CE-6.2.4.zip content (silentUpgrade.php, silentUpgrade_dce_step1.php, silentUpgrade_dce_step2.php, silentUpgrade_step1.php, silentUpgrade_step2.php)in the sugarcrm installation root directory (/sugartest3) and I placed the SugarCE-Upgrade-6.1.x-to-6.2.4.zip in the same sugar installation root directory (/sugartest).

After this I executed this command (I was in the /sugartest3 directory):

    php -f silentUpgrade.php SugarCE-Upgrade-6.1.x-to-6.2.4.zip vincenzo.log . theuser
where "theuser" is an admin user existing sugarcrm system

    But I got this error:

    ************************************************** ******************
******This Upgrade process may take sometime*********
    ************************************************** ******************
    *************** silentupgrade failed ***************

No info was written in vincenzo.log ...no other information to share...

The same thing happens if I try to upgrade to 6.1.7 (obviously I downloaded the two different zip file).

Please can anyone help to upgrade my Sugar system ?

    Sincerly, Vincenzo

    Solved !

The problem was related to the version of php launched using the command for silentUpgrade.php.

I use a shared hosting and, if I use php via command line, I use the 4.0 version !

Changing the command indicating php 5 everything works fine.
