Unable to upgrade from Sugar CE 5.5.1 to 6.1.0

Hi people,
I need your help here!
I am trying to upgrade the CRM through the upgrade wizard and on the third step (just after upload upgrade package) I am getting the following error:

Warning: include(/manifest.php) [function.include]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in C:\xampp\htdocs\crm\modules\UpgradeWizard\prefligh t.php on line 277

And this error appears every time I try to run\ the wizard!
Can someone help?
Some directions what to do with very simple words (not fluent on the material) will be greatly welcomed!

It is possible it is due a file permission issue.
Try to upgrade through silentUpgrade.php
