Unified search redirects on upgraded sugar

On my upgraded sugar instance the unified search most of the times redirects to the place where you where before you hit enter on the search.
The result gets displayed, but then you get redirected.
It does not happen on a fresh install. The difference is the URL shown in the URL bar. The one with redirection has some additional params:

Fresh install:
sugar63/index.php?action=UnifiedSearch&module=Home&search_ form=false&advanced=false&query_string=test

Upgraded install:
sugar6mig/index.php?action=UnifiedSearch&module=Home&search_ form=false&advanced=false&query_string=test#ajaxUI Loc=index.php%3Fmodule%3DContacts%26action%3Dindex

You can see the additional #ajaxUILoc=index.php%3Fmodule%3DContacts%26action% 3Dindex
Can someone reproduce this?

Can you add a bug for this at SugarCRM Bug Tracker | Open Source Business & Social CRM - SugarCRM, and perhaps a pull request if you can find the fix.

The problem i cant reproduce exactly when that happens and dont know why this happens, so i cant file a good bug report.
I dont even know if it may come from some custom settings or anything else. If i find some more info i sure will file a bug report.

I am seeing the same problem as well. It's definitely related to the AjaxUI somehow. In rc3 if you disable the ajaxui, this problem goes away. Also If you click the magnifying glass next to the unified search field and then search from the dedicated unified search page that avoids the problem as well.

Tested this issue a bit further and it occurs on almost all screens EXCEPT Calendars and Campaigns.
When on Home, Accounts, Calls, Meetings etc. it will redirect.

It always occurs after the following error:

I am seeing this behaviour too but only using Google Chrome browser. I cannot replicate using IE9. Not sure if that helps?

Also if I log out and log back in then it rectifies the problem for 1 search.

Looks like a webkit only issue.
And yes, I also noticed the "first try is right" issue.
