I am trying to set up SugarCRM for a client and need some advice. Their hosting service uses cPanel so I have limited control over what sort of changes I can make. My goal is to have a clear model on how to upgrade with the limitations I face. Any advice would be helpul. Here is what I know so far:
- The hosting site limits the max upload size to 2M. Here is the solution I use (thank you Angel)
- Extract the file "manifest.php" from the zip containing the upgrade files and then rename it using the following convention: <name_of_zip>-manifest.php
- Upload the renamed manifest and the original zip from where you extracted it to cache/upload/upgrades/patch
- Run the Upgrade Wizard
- The Upgrade Wizard can create but not write to the Temp Directory. The exact message is "Could not create the temp directory. Check file permissions." Further the UpgradeWizard.log states "Could not create a temporary directory using mk_temp_dir( $base_tmp_upgrade_dir )"
Anyone have suggestions on who the fix the second limitation? Should I be approaching this in a different way?
