Upgrading from 6.1.6 to 6.3.0 Upgrade Wizard times out??

I'm trying to upgrade my SugarCRM to a more recent version. Every time I upload the .zip file to the Upgrade Wizard after about 40 seconds it will time out and send me to the index page.

I've searched all over the forum and I can't find out why it's not working. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is usually the result of a PHP setting that needs to be adjusted. In your case, the following settings likely need to be increased:

post_max_size
upload_max_filesize
max_execution_time
max_input_time

The latter two should be at least 300, while 40M should suffice for the first two.

Thats what I've read but I have done that.

post_max_size - 50M
upload_max_filesize - 50M
max_execution_time - 800
max_input_time - 800

Any other ideas? It's really confusing me

I don't know if this helps at all but when its timing out and attempting to take me to the index page it pulls up this error

"ERR_CONNECTION_RESET"

I would still lean towards one of those settings being a problem.

There is also an off chance that something in the cache/upload folder is not to the liking of the Upgrade Wizard. One quick way to test it would be to rename the cache/upload/upgrades folder prior to accessing the Upgrade Wizard and then attempting the upgrade once again.

If all else fails, you can use this technique to manually upload the files:

I did the upgrade through FTP like your blog suggested but have now ran into some problems.. All the information seems broken. If I go to my leads it tells me its undefined. Any Idea on what I need to change? Thanks
