Default Yikes! After install, Internet Explorer “cannot display the webpage.”

I can’t get SugarCrm to load after installation. Learned more about software guts than I ever thought I would or could, been a blast but I have to punt now.

Loaded FastStack Windows Installer for 6.2.3 with MySQL. Installation wizard work fine. Hit finish, "http://127.0.0.1/sugarcrm/index.php" tries to load and then IE8 tells me Internet Explorer “cannot display the webpage.” Other browsers produce similar results.

Looked through many forum posts and here’s what I’ve tried, nothing’s worked.

Firewall and virus protection off (and/or apache explicitly permitted).
    Port 80 skype off.
Router not blocking any ports, including 80.
    httpd.conf is set: Listen 80.

netstat –an shows no entries for port 80. File attached.

    I’m running XP SP3, IE8

    Here’s install_summary.txt:

SugarCRM was installed with the following settings

    Installation directory: C:\Program Files\sugarcrm-6.2.3/
    Apache HTTP port: 80
    Apache HTTPS port: 443
    MySQL port: 3306

To access SugarCRM, point your browser to:

Here’s the communications and network information from Belarc Advisor:

Any thoughts out there? Dying to try SugarCrm!

    Really appreciate your help.

Was the netstat executed after you started the related services? I don't use the FastStack installers, but I believe there is an option in the Windows Start Menu that reads something along the lines of Start Services or the like.

If it was after, that would seem to indicate apache is simply not starting for whatever reason, which could be quite varied.

I installed 6.3.1 and I'm having the same problem. I'm unable to get the url to display on another computer.
