Default sugarCRM and DRUPAL anyone interested?

I am doing DRUPAL development pretty much exclusively, but I am trying to figure out a way tot integrate sugar CRM with DRUPAL. BAsically I want to have a lad generated in DRUPAL pipe it into SugarCRM some way... I would use a SOAP CALL, but I am looking for some articles, technical reference on how to do it.

anyone outthere that may have a clue..
by the way, I jsut moved to south beach miami and looking for more developers.

    Hi all,

I am going to be doing some heavy mods for a client in sugarcrm, open source edition.
I should be done in a few days.

After that, with the knowledge of the program fresh in my mind I may have to time to make a drupal/sugar mod for you.

I live here in south florida.
    Let me know.

Yeah we've done some stuff with drupal combined with sugar. The tricky thing is: Sugar uses SOAP and Drupal uses XML-RPC. It's in alpha stage.

What you're looking for is pretty easy by the way. Just look at the Lead Form Generator inside Campaigns.

Some good news here.. I Don't know if your are aware of sugarondrupal concept module. After two years of experiences and customization (and of course, hitting the wall with the head) I just started to make a more serious approach. Finally SugaronDrupal will exists as a contribution module in Drupal.org.

This is one of the reasons why I'm so interested in the RESTful interface, and why I joined the TestFets. I'm writting a blog about current research status and other SugarCRM issues in the "project home page" link at http://drupal.org/project/sugarondrupal .

That reminds me I should update the SugarForge project page.
