Default Feedback on the new Developer website?

    Hi all,

We have launched the new website today, and are eager to hear your feedback.

Please post any suggestions or other feedback you have for the new developer website. In particular, we're looking to find out what items we have missed. What else do you need to learn as a new (or seasoned) Sugar developer? Do you want to see more tutorials? More code samples? More up-to-the-minute blog entries?

    Let us know!

susiewilliams, I want to see a concise list consisting only of a clickable blog post title followed by a snippet of the post, but never exceeding a single line.

    Something like:

Title 1 A snippet of the text of the post ...
Title 2 This text and that.
Title 3 That text of this blog entry pared down to fit ...
Each URL takes you to just that one post.

Also, we should make the blog titles on the main page clickable, and the click to take you to the body of that one post.

We need the RSS link to appear prominently.

    All for now,

Congratulations! Thank you for putting all of information together into the single portal.

    Two feedbacks from me.

    1. Sometimes it takes a very long time to load the top page. There may be a DNS issue. Other sites with the same domain (sugarcrm.com) work very nice, so I think this is not an issue on our side.

    2. This is a mid term issue but I'd like you to consolidate all of Sugar documentation and put them into the same text format (like Wiki) so that developers can find anything very easily directly in the site or by Googling. They may include SugarWiki, tutorials, developers manuals, user documentation. The good example is http://www.php.net/docs.php where developers can find anything about PHP quickly.

    Hi Ruchida,

Thank you for the feedback! We're already working on fixing the slow site issue, and hope to have that corrected tomorrow (our time). Regarding the "unified search" idea, it's something we have been discussing for quite a while here. We are evaluating some new technology that should help in this regard, though our timeframe for implementation is a little further out (like in the next several months, not the next several days).

Let us know if we're missing any key areas of developer information. I want to make this a true "one stop shop" for developers to find what the are looking for!
