user and accounts

Hi there,
I want to assign only specific accounts and contacts to one user and dont want him to have access to other accoutns. I dont want him to even see the account names. So basicly once he log oin he only can work with his assigned accounts. thanks jb

Hello,

what version of Sugar are you using? If you are using CE, then you can use the Role security to create a role which will only allow the user to view records that are assigned to him/her.

To do this, go to Admin, Role Management. Create a role which will limit the user to only view records in the List View and Detail views that are assigned to them, For instructions on the Roles, you can click here: http://www.sugarcrm.com/crm/index.ph...dmin_Roles_v50
