We contribute with this tutorial, "Custom Module Development - Helloworld Module". We explain how to develop a simple SugarCRM custom module, it provides a simple steps to create an installable SugarCRM module.

    Hi,

Cloud you please help me on this issue.

I have updated my editview in custom/modules/Module_name/metadata/editviewdefs.php and Tried to Refersh the Browser but its not reflcting my changes and i have to use the Repair option using the Admin Section then its reflected my changes. and for my another collgues its working without using admin-> Repair option.

He is directly changes on the editviewdefs.php and coming to Browser and just click on refresh button, its applying the changes and for me always needs to repair using the admin..

Can any one Guide me why its not working for me and for my another colleague with same settings its working fine.

I really don't understand why its not working for me. Any help Appreciated.

    Thanks

Your co-developer has their system in "Developer Mode". Developer Mode refreshes the cached files on every run. This is great for development and not for production systems.

    To turn on Developer Mode...
    Admin -> System Settings

    Search for Developer Mode

    Hi there,

could someone add those more topics to the cookbook?
It is not clear for me to implement that...so that is why I would like it could be documented.

    - step by step of how to create of logic_hook file
    - steb by step of how to create id auto_incremental.
    - basic update records using repair/rebuild or implement or publish.

Thanks in advance and hope that this cookbook can be available soon.

So, is it the Cookbook still in progress?
I think it's a great idea, and the first bite of it was really useful.
I'm pretty new with Sugar and I'm still learning, so I truly hope this project is still active.

    Regards.
