Assign User By Zip - Automatically

I am new to sugar, and have been addicted to learning and picking things up for the past 2 days. One question I can't really seem to find the answer but I also may have overlooked it is as follows...

This is what I would like to do ...

If I create a new user I would like a custom field lets say 'assigned zip' or better yet be able to assign multiple zip codes to 1 user ... So once this users account is created all the leads go to that user based on zip code... and also to make sure lets say I need to change a users assigned zip code, i can just go back into his profile and change his assigned zip and it will changed automatically.

Does anyone know of a way to do this ?

Use logic hooks in leads module to achieve this.
