custom fields are not being saved while upgrading

hi

i upgraded the sugarcrm from 4.5 to 5.0,now everything is working fine except custom fields.
the existing custom field data is not shown in detailview(but it is ther in database) and also when i created a new lead all fields r saved except custom field.
please help me ,if u have any idea.

Check your fields_meta_data table in the old and in the new database.
Here the custom fields are defined.
In 5.0 there a new column names and the data of 4.5 is transformed during migration in the new column fields.

yes, they are migrated correctly. But still I am not able to update/view data in custom fieds.
