Deploying package abc hourglass

Hello

I am experimenting with the module builder and created a module with one custom field. I then clicked deploy and it has been displaying Deploying package <packagename> for the last 15 minutes. How can I troubleshoot this? I am using Version 5.5.2 (Build 1214) community edition.

I have the same problem.It hangs there for hours.It does the same thing when i try to rebuild my extensions.
