Does the frequency dropdown in Newsletter send out the emails as per selected option

SOMEONE PLEASE ANSWER TO THIS QUESTION I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR RESPONSE FOR ALMOST FIFTEEN DAYS BUT IN VAIN.I NEED SOME ONE TO GUIDE ME IN THIS ASPECT.EXPECTING REPLY SOON

Can some one explain me how does the frequency dropdown in Newsletter campaign work.Will it send the emails automatically as per the selected frequency?

For example if i want to send newsletter weekly.If choose weekly from the frequency dropdown and specify the time then wil it send the emails to the target list every week at the speceifioed time automatically?

My requirement is to send newsletter on daily basis.Is that possible ?If possible please explain me how can I do it?
