How to add the field 'description' to the view list for lead/contact search

I am frustrated because I can not add the field 'description' in my lead or contact search view.

I am talking about the 'view list' under basic or advanced search. I need to have more column not just : name, statuts, account name, office phone, email, user and date created.
I want to have the field 'description'.
