    - Creating a case from a group email folder does not add the case number to the archived email subject

    Thanks.

I'm not able to reproduce this issue in 5.2.0c.

If I send an email from "jennifer@test.com" to a mail account in Sugar, let's say, "support@test.com", after importing and relating it to a record, if I click on the email in the HIstory subpanel under the record, in the Compose Email screen I see "jennifer@test.com" in the To: field.

This is the correct and expected behavior. The email address of the sender of the email is placed in the To: field. Is this not the behavior you are experiencing?

27802 - The new Themes Framework takes care of this. You will be able to drop the customizations into the custom/include/globalControlLinks.php file.

27829 and 27830 are already targeted for the Sugar 5.5 release. We are looking into 27806, 27809-27812 for the next major release after Sugar 5.5.

28582 - This is now targeted to be addressed in the Manhattan (5.2.0d) patch.

28470 - This is now targeted to be addressed in the release after Sugar 5.5.

28186 - This requires additional thought and consideration at this time. We will keep it in mind while we are scoping out changes for the next major release after Sugar 5.5.

As much as possible, we would like to avoid altering the subject line of the original email when it is imported into Sugar. But I agree that inconsistencies should be avoided.

When a user Quick-Creates a case from an imported email, the email is related to the new case, and the original Subject line is intact. However, replies to the email do not automatically contain the Case Macro in the subject line.

We wanted the Auto-Create-Case to have the added advantage of allowing users to reply to the emails from which the case was automatically created, with the Case Macro already included in the Subject line so that subsequent replies will be automatically associated with the case. This is the advantage of using the Auto-Create-Case feature over the manual quick-create feature in the Emails module. In this use case, users are mainly or solely working with the records in the Cases module, and are not going to Group Folders in the Emails module to access/create cases.

if it is possible to have the Case Macro appended to the first replies to emails associated with cases without needing to alter the Subject line of the original email, we would prefer to do this. We are looking into whether we can do this. However, at this point, the Quick-Create is working as designed.
