Sugar 5.5.2 patch - closed for nominations

Sugar 5.5.2 patch is now open for nominations.

I'm happy to announce that the Sugar 5.5 maintenance patches are back and will follow a 5.5.x naming convention.

Please nominate bugs you would like to see addressed in this patch by posting the bug number in this forum thread.

The list of bugs and requests targeted to be addressed in the patch will be available shortly. I will update this thread when they can be viewed in the Bug Tracker.

As of the writing of this post, the patch is targeted for a late April delivery.

NOTE: Bugs can be moved out of this release at any time.

Release Community Edition Ver 5.5.1

When importing Accounts the "Assigned To" field defaults to currently logged in user and not the value that is in the import CSV file.

When importing Contacts the "Account Name" field does not get linked to the actual Account record already in the database even though the name in the import CSV file is identical to the already stored Account name.

All the above were working correctly in version 5.5.0

When importing Activities/Calls, when "Relate To" Leads is selected, the import does not relate the imported name to existing lead.

This has not worked since 5.5.0

Interestingly, "Relate To" leads works when importing Meets or To-Dos.

Still broken in v 5.2.0 build 587
Cannot edit email signature as no buttons appear until after a second signature is added. Tested in multiple browsers.
Bug was also said to have been fixed in 2261.

Campaign emails have no embedded images anymore 5.5.1
Well, why not work on this? You can embed images in an email that is sent to one particular recipient, but not within a campaign. It appears in your editor, but is not sent out; receiver doesn't get embedded image.

SugarCRM can't handle non-English characters in (text-only) emails.
This makes it currently unusable for internatioal customers.

I noticed 36196 has not been assigned yet.

I would think a module loader uninstall trying to remove the entire file system would be a good one to fix.
