    Default Calendar 2.0

    Calendar 2.0 is now available at SugarExchange.

    This is an add-on module to Sugar Professional 5.5.1 and is a paid module to support development activities. It is also fully upgrade-safe.

    It comes with a fully Ajax'ed user interface with lots of support for recurrence, whole day schedule, private schedule, assignment to a team, resource scheduling, personalization.

    You can see a several screen shots and online demo at the SugarExchange URL above.

    I'm sorry that it does not work with Sugar Community Edition yet.

    We would gladly pay for an improved calendar for the CE version.

    Hello,

    Calendar 2.0 now works with Sugar Community Edition.

    The module is designed as universal that works with either of CE, Pro, Ent.

    Take a look at demo at the Resources tab.

    Calendar 2.0 now works with Sugar 5.2 as well as 5.5.1.

    It also supports all of Sugar editions.

    A new version of Calendar2 has been released at SugarExchange.

    New features included in this version are;

    - The "Search and Drag" ability to schedule a meeting/call on the fly
    - Custom Note Module is now attached to each schedule.
    - The "Today" button is placed to bring you back to the today's schedule quickly

    Calendar2 is an upgrade-sage module extension to Sugar Pro/CE 5.2 and 5.5. It has many modern features that the standard Calendar module does not have as follows;

    - Ajax, drag&drop
    - Recurrence
    - Scheduling teams
    - Resource scheduling (room, car, ext.)
    - Start of week (Monday or Sunday)
    - Custom start time of day
    - Whole day event
    - Private schedule
    - Search and drag contacts
    - Custom Note

    You can see demonstration on YouTube.

    If this works for Sugar CE, then does that mean it is under GPL3 license, and therefore anyone that buys it can post it as freely available?

    No the codes are developed for Sugar Pro and have a proprietary license.

    There are lots of software that work with Sugar CE but are not licensed under GPL. Windows or Apache are among them.

    Interesting. Now, historically, SugarCRM has maintained that any add-on to SugarCRM CE must be licensed under GPL 3, as the whole must be deemed a derived work - unless the add-on communicates with SugarCRM via web services or other APIs only - and does not join with it to create a single, holistic user interface.

    It is not my impression that your add-on code falls into this category, however. Or am I incorrect?
