    Default Contracts for 4.5.1d

    Project url: http://www.sugarforge.org/projects/contracts

Here's a pretty simple module that lets you upload documents to a contract and associate with an account. The file is displayed as a link in the subpanel list allowing for quick viewing.

I was curious if this was set up for a school contractor or something. Any reason the student count and hosting are in there? Also, what's the Evergreen checkbox for?

I would like to ask for a couple of enhancements/changes in the next version:

    1) Ability to attach contracts to Projects and possibly Opportunities, not just Accounts.
    2) More generic preset types and products.

Also, the button for adding another product is blank...was that on purpose? Otherwise a nice simple way to keep track of contracts.

Correct, it was. This module is more of an example of building a module along with adding a file upload field. Unless there's demand I doubt I'll ever get to adding more features as this version fits with what we need. There are some out there who use a customized version of this module.

How does one add products? Or add/change the type of contracts used? EULA/NDA/Subcont/Other doesn't fit my needs.

Did you scan paper copies of hand-signed contracts? Or was this a backup and convenience to a legal paper copy?

Answered this myself - have to edit the file at /var/www/html/crm/custom/application/Ext/Language/en_us.lang.ext.php
in TWO places - add lines for the items you want.
