    Exclamation Lampada iPortal 1.0.1 (CE) Not Working

    I have installed Lampada iPortal 1.0.1 (LampadaPortal_CE_1.0) and successfully activated it on SugarCE-6.3.1 however despite editing the iportal_config.php and adding a default user I am still receiving the following error;

    The default portal user is not set, wrong with no access to any module, please edit the iportal_config.php


    Also when I visit http://crm.z01.co.uk/iportal.php I get nothing but a blank page. Anyone know whats going on?

    Could you try the new release - 2.0 - downloadable from Sugarforge ?

    Version 2.0 wouldn't install at all. It doesn't appear to be compatible with CE. Any reasons why?

    When I try to install v2.0 I get the following error;

    Query Failed: ALTER TABLE lg_portaluser modify column name varchar(30) NULL , ADD INDEX idx_lg_portaluser_tmst_id (team_set_id): Database failure. Please refer to sugarcrm.log for details.

    Tue Feb 7 00:07:17 2012 [32653][1][FATAL] Query Failed: ALTER TABLE lg_portaluser modify column name varchar(30) NULL , ADD INDEX idx_lg_portaluser_tmst_id (team_set_id): MySQL error 1072: Key column 'team_set_id' doesn't exist in table

    This woud indicate that v2.0 isn't compatible with v2.0 due to CE lacking team_set_id as a table cat.

    Any suggestions.

    It was due an agreement with SugarCRM itself.

    Lampada Portal only works on commercial editions.

    André - It's unfortunate you had to disable the SugarCRM CE compatibility for Lampada Portal !

    You should update the Lampada Portal listing on Sugarforge:

    1) Try the SalesAgility SugarCRM Joomla Case Portal. It says it works with SugarCRM CE.

    2) Try the Sales Agility Advanced Portal - says it works with CE - but it's not showing in the download list:
    SugarForge: Developer Profile

    Create and update cases, documents, get quotes, request services, track email dialogs, manage invoices, manage and request due diligence documents in authenticated Portal. Community Edition - requires OpenSales modules.
    Might want to contact Sales Agility and see if they still can provide the Advanced Portal for SugarCE:

    You should also check this thread - David O'Keefe, the developer of the Lampada Portal, talks about how to adapt the Lampada Portal 2.0 code to run properly on Sugar CE 6 - by removing references to the Sugar Pro-only "Teams" feature:

    I'm on CE 6.24 and attempted to load Lampada Portal version 2.0 (it was listed as ccompatible with CE), now my system reports a database failure. When I run the repair utility in admin it says there are differences between database and vardefs. When I execute the process as recommended it does not succeed.
