Numeric Search with Enhanced Search 2.1

Enhanced Search 2.1 has been released !


As of now a new kind of search is available : the numeric field search.
Decimal, Integer and Currency fields are eligible to be searched using che most common (and required) comparison operators (=, <, <=, >, >= and BETWEEN) using Enhanced Search 2.1 DEMO (FREE) and FULL.
Also, the zero ("0") value SugarCRM bug has been fixed in this release, and this gives new search capabilities, possibly combined with the EMPTY option search.

In addition, the Spanish language is now supported.

When you choose the BETWEEN operator you must enter two numbers separated by any non-digit character in the search field.

The BETWEEN operator returns all the values between a lower and a upper bound entered in the searchfield.
The BETWEEN searchfield must have the following format :

<lower_bound><separator><upper_bound>

where :

<lower_bound> and <upper_bound> are integer / decimal numbers (digits from 0 to 9 plus "," or "." as decimal separator and minus "-" are allowed)

<separator> can be a space " " or a semicolon ";" for instance. It must be composed of 1 or more characters out of the above-mentioned bound set (0-9 , . -).

Samples of search string for BETWEEN operator are :

1 10
-1.0 ; 10.1
12,44 / 100

If the search string is not formatted as described above or the lower bound is greater than the upper, the clause has no effect on the search query.
