Everyone,

Thanks,
Thank you for this module.
I have downloaded it and is in the process of testing it.
So far everithing look great. It seem that some modifications i had made to the search form using the Studio have been lost.
I suspect this is due to the new form provided by you module. I am re-modifying my search form and will keep you posted.
I expect that i will be updating everyone on the status of my testing within a week.
Thank again for this simple modification who is making our life easier.

I have been using the module for a week now and everthing is OK.
I've even updated my system to 4.5.1.c and everything is still functionning OK.
The only draw back is that i lost the personalisation i've made with the studio in the opportunities advance searchform.
But overall this is a fantastic module. Long overdue. I hope that the SugarTeam will integrate this in the upcomming version.
Thank.

Well, there is only one line that I added on the Opportunities Search form
<td class="dataLabel">{APP.LBL_NOT_CLOSED_FILTER}  ; <input name='exclude_closed_basic' onchange='this.form.submit();' class="checkbox" type="checkbox" {EXCLUDE_CLOSED}></td>
So if you don't want to lose all your Studio changes to the Search Form, just make a copy of it and add the code above to above <td class="dataLabel">{APP.LBL_CURRENT_USER_FILTER}&nb sp; <input name='current_user_only_basic' onchange='this.form.submit();' class="checkbox" type="checkbox" {CURRENT_USER_ONLY}></td>
I don't think Sugar will ever implement this. If I have time, I'll do one for Cases and Activities.
Thanks so much for doing this.
Can you please clarify what you mean by "just make a copy of it and add the code above to above". I'm missing something and I just want to be clear before I add this filter.
Thanks Again
Hi all,
this looks like a great, helpful code addtion. I would highly encourage you to submit this through our Code Contribution form so it does make it into a future release. The contribution form is the simplest way to alert Engineering to your contribution and to ensure that it's not lost out here in the forums.
Thanks again for your efforts!

If you have made many changes to Opportunities Search Form in the Studio and don't want the module to over ride it, please follow the steps below:Originally Posted by rossgibby
1. Make a copy of your /modules/Opportunities/SearchForm.html
2. Open it, add this line <td class="dataLabel">{APP.LBL_NOT_CLOSED_FILTER}  ; <input name='exclude_closed_basic' onchange='this.form.submit();' class="checkbox" type="checkbox" {EXCLUDE_CLOSED}></td>
AFTER
<td class="dataLabel" noWrap><span sugar='slot2'>{MOD.LBL_ACCOUNT_NAME}</span sugar='slot'> <span sugar='slot2b'><input type=text size="20" name="account_name_basic" class=dataField value="{ACCOUNT_NAME}" /></span sugar='slot'></td>
3. Save it somewhere
4. Install the module using the Module Loader
5. Upload the modified SearchForm.html and upload it to /modules/Opportunities/ directory
I hope this helps.
Thank you Susie for letting everyone know about the Contribution site. I just submit the module there.Originally Posted by susiewilliams

A nice, badly needed addon. Works perfectly too.
Thank you.
