Power Prospecting 4.5.1

Here is the Power Prospecting module for 4.5.1 .. It alters the MASS UPDATE feature to allow you to MASS UPDATE specific target lists..

WARNING : This will reset your Contact/Leads/Targets/Accounts PUBLISHED FORMS back to default. To fix, after install, just go back into the STUDIO and RePublish your Saved forms.


Whats realy needed is a seperate module to simply Dump all search results to a Target List with one click.

For example.. Say you search your 10,000 list Database of Targets/Leads/Contacts whatever.. Based upon a search criteria.. this gives you a breakdown list of 1234 records.. You should be able to dump this list of 1234 strating into a Target List with one button click..

Sugar CRM is like an Arabian Stallion, ready to race, but its feet are cemented to the ground, due to this glaring crippling oversight of design.

NOTE : On any List view, you can click the Top Checkbox next to EXPORT, to automaticaly select all listed records. You can alter the number of listed records in the ADMIN/GENERAL SETTINGS for SugarCRM.

I'm getting 'not compatible' for 451b - do you have any plans to update the release.

you may extract the content of the zip file and change the file manifest.php.

Change the lines

'regex_matches' => array (
0 => '4\\.5\\.1'
),

to

'regex_matches' => array (
0 => '4\\.5\.*'
),

After changing the file manifest.php create a zip file again.

The other thing that is very much needed is to include USERS among the ListViews that contain the Mass Update field for PowerProspecting. We should be able to easily and quickly add USERS to a Prospect List so that they can be mass-mailed a reminder, newsletter, etc.

Great module, thanks.

One question, does it let you search for all the contacts in a particular prospect list?

Although the "Taget List" field shows in the Studio for contacts - list / detail view it doe not show in the search view so I am unable to drag across onto the advanced search area.

See the code posted in this thread. I haven't installed or tried it, but it looks promising to me.
