Relate field doesn't work in Custom module

Dear,

I am using SugarCRM5.0.0f. I have created a custom module and there is a Relate field from "Accounts".
The problem is in searching , when i place that relate field in searching, Searching doesn't work.
And when i don't place that field then it works. I can't remove relate field, it is compulsory.

Could you please tell me how can i overcome this issue?

I Am also having this issue with a custom module related to the project module, does anyone have a fix for this ?
