Rolustech brings to you a simple open source tool: Rolustech Package Builder (RPB) to make the lives of SugarCRM developers much simpler.
Purpose:
When Sugar developers have to package all the changed files and deliver them to the client; they have to track all the files in which they have made some changes. It requires a lot of time and effort to track all the changed files at the end of the day. Secondly, even if developers try and keep track of all the changed files; they require a lot of time and effort to build the manifest that is used in package building.
Functionality:
Our Rolustech Package Builder (RPB) allows developers to dramatically save both; time and effort. RPB performs two simple yet vital functions: ChangeDetector and AutoManifest. The Change Detector detects all the changed files within the user given range and creates separate and similar directory hierarchy for only those changed files. While the AutoManifest will automatically generate the Manifest for changed files; taking the files created by ChangeDetector as input. Also, developers can build a change repository in order to track all the changed files with dates.
The RolustechPackageBuilder shall accomplish the entire above mentioned task in a matter of a few seconds and the developers now do not need to worry about tracking the changed files and making a manifest.
