SugarCRM Excel Add-in

Hi,

Here is NDNKoders first release of SugarCRM Excel Add-in.
This is an easy way of building your Excel reports or extracting information from your Sugar Modules.
I've added some of the chart's that I buit with this Add-in and with Excel's Dynamic Charts to this post's attachments.

Please try it out and give us some feedback.
We plan to have a final release early next year...

In case the toolbar doesn't appear please run the registry file in the attachment RegFile.zip

The sugarcrm url must be in the following format:
http://<sugarurl>/soap.php

I have just installed it but I am not seeing a button for it in excel 2003

Where will it show?

Hi Mike,

I have updated my first post's attachments with the correct versions, please uninstall the version you have previously installed and install the new one. If the toolbar still doesn't show on the toolbar please run the file in the RegFile.zip

These addins can always be found in the Excel's Tools->Add-Ins then select Automation and look for NDNExcelIDTE.Connect

Sorry for the inconvinience it's the problem with Beta versions eheheheheh

getting there

now I enter the username & password & save
I the restart excel & look at the saved info and it put the password in the username field and username in paswword field

By putting username in password in wrong fields and saving it then shows the details correctly

when i click on modules I get: The request failed with an empty response.

I've corrected the username/password issue and updated the installation file in the first post's attachment's.....

I only mentioned in my blog (http://boossss.blogspot.pt) that the sugarcrm url must be in the following format:
http://<sugarurl>/soap.php

If you use your excel plugin with SSL and not authenticateds cerificates you get the error message

The underlying connection was closed: Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel.

We have not tried to use the Add-in with SSL I'll try to solve this issue and then I'll update the SugarCRM Excel Add-in.
