OK OK I believe you - thanks for all the references .... I'll be testing it w/c 17th December and if it works for my client I'll definitely be buying it ...

My client is a law firm who are looking at logging their client and court time using this timesheet application. The problem is their time is bliled at different rates depending on the activity - even if it's for the same case.

Hence the reason for the "rates" variable...

Well...I think the best thing to do is to allow the customer a few templates to choose from.

1) A standard Invoice template which highlights hours worked vs rate per hour for each task/case to the client - I saw something a while back that used invoice.jxml via ZuckerReports to produce one....

2) In my case however, the law firm have to complete pre-printed forms (for legal aid), and so it would be great for me if we could do some kind of mail-merge or populate a Word Doc to produce a PDF.

Ideally if you could simply allow the Invoice to be customised in the studio, that would be a good start....

I swear you'll get my money when I can finish the high level spec!!

Hello,

I'm trying to test this module and doesn't understand how to link a task with a user.
You say "This matrix shows only those projects, project tasks and cases, which are assigned to current user ", but how do you assign a user with a task ? I don't see an "assigned to" field in the task maintenance ?
What I see is that every users can book time on every tasks !
What I do wrong ?
