SweetTools is probably the greatest module ever for the novice or semi-professional SugarCRM administrator. SweetTools seamlessly installs phpMyAdmin a MySQL browser interface, eXtplorer a file browser and a copy of phpinfo() onto your SugarCRM system.

Oh Holy God I'm new to Sugar but not to DB administration and I was getting a little nervous thinking i was going to have to manage a 13k record rs without access to even the MySQL command line.

Update - Just FYI everyone with an OnDemand installation, you install SweetTools by going to Admin -> Module Loader and uploading the zipped package available from SugarForge via the link above. Once the zip is uploaded just install via the Module Loader, all the extraction and config is automatic (which is totally sweet).

No doubt a quantum leap for SugarCRM to have such a module available to it's users. I'm wondering why it is not a standard component. Any deals in the making I wonder? There should be.

I am having some snags getting started with the Extplorer component, but otherwise, hands down excellent!

Great work. I wish this thread was easier to find for those of us helplessly searching for help with phopmyadmin on the forums. This component should be more widely publicized. Spent days looking.

I have just uploaded the latest version of Sweettools here

All of the components have been upgraded, and all known bugs (with the installation and use of these tools, I didnt fix anything in the tools themselves) have been fixed.

I removed eXplorer and added a better file browser called FileManager. It works alot better than eXplorer did and is a little more feature rich. I also added a MyTOP-like tool (only works with MySQL and only if your MySQL user has enough access) and several speed tests.

There are now 2 versions. One is large (105M or so) and includes a VERY cool flash based network speed test tool much like what http://www.speedtest.net/ does (although not as fancy).

The other version is much smaller and omits this tool. Other than the Network Speed test tool they are exactly the same.

Let me know what you think or if you have any problems with it.

Neat tool but Ajax mytop shows me nothing - I may be misunderstanding what it should show me

The file explorer also doesn't work and I get JavaScript errors

MTop show activity, again it only works if your MySQL user that SugarCRM uses has enough access. You might need to switch to a root user to see everything.

What javascript errors are you seeing and what browser are you seeing them in?

I'm getting the errors in firefox4 & ie9

I dont get them in firefox 3.5 but it doesnt work there either

The errors are :

Error: 'soundManager' is undefined
Line: 272
Error: 'fmLib' is undefined

I have installed it several times here and I cant replicate this. My screen always looks like this. (see attached file)

Maybe the problem is permissions or something.

Strange

I don't think it is permissions as I have reset them to 777 and it makes no difference

I have tried uninstalling & reinstalling but still doesn't work
