6.4 CE Themes

I've tried Sugar CE before but the default theme is terrible and very confusing to use. Are there any other themes available for version 6.4 ? I couldn't find anything online.

The only theme I know for 6.x CE available for no cost is modern aqua theme in sugarforge (SugarForge: Modern Aqua Theme: Project Info). I don't know it's actual status. When I tried it long time ago it was in a very early stage and contained bugs.
Maybe the module package is not ready for version 6.4. If this is the case you could modify manifest.php in the package and try to install and use the new theme. Afaik version 6 themes should be compatible with all 6.x releases.

The alternative would be to create an own theme (e.g. copy the existing theme and modify it) or hire someone to do this for you. Sugar partners like Devoteam offer such a service.

Sugar CE 5.x comes with many themes and was very simple to change.
I think probably is possibe to install these themes individually. Whether you look under themes folder there is some types there. Maybe with some configuration they could be used.

nice idea to take version 5 themes. I never tried this. What has to be done to move them to 6.x?

Yes, version 5 themes are not compatible with version 6. As far as I understand Rafael he has experience in how to convert them.
