Default Add field to relationship, and circular relationship

    2 very simple questions

It has been quite some time since I did some work in sugar. What I am trying to accomplish is
can I related a module to itself? For instance, there is the contacts module. I have a case where I need to specify a relationship of a contact to itself, that is say I have internal type contacts and a customer contact. I want to create a relationship saying that my customer contact deals with 4 or 5 or n internal contacts.
Can I do this? If so do I just specify a relationship from Contact to Contact???

I am running sugar professional on a windows environment version 5.2.0c

My second question is if I can create this relationship, I want to have an additional field called "Contact Frequency" as a drop down. Should I just add this to the contacts module itself or is there a better way.
Picture it as on the actual contact you can "Add" a contact to a contact, and when you add a contact you specify the frequency of the contact's interaction with the contact.

For instance, lets say I have a customer contact like Joe Nike. Joe Nike has 3 internal contact (that is three people in my company work with Joe Nike and they are Jon, Bill, and Steve. On the panel I would picture simply adding the contact and specifying their frequency with Joe Nike. Jon may have little contact frequency with Joe Nike while Steve may have intensive.

    Is this possible?

    Hi jhermiz,

For the frequency field, you can add the field to the relationship and show it on the subpanel, but it requires significant coding. See this thread where a similar solution was worked out.

I don't know much about the Contacts to Contacts relationship. The Member Organizations feature relates Accounts to Accounts, so I would imagine it is possible, but I have not done anything like that, so I'll leave it to others.
