Default Custom fields: add account selection to project view

    Hi there,
we would like to add the refering account's name to all views of our Projects module (edit, list, detail) but couldn't figure out how to do that. Is there any chance of doing this at all by editing the field layout? At the moment there is only the subpanel that is offering the required functionality.

    Thanks for your help

actually, that is not implemented in standard installation since you are able to attach more than one account to a project.

Thanks for your quick response Superman.

How would I go about assigning existing projects to accounts then? I can't seem to find it in the documentation.

    I'm using Sugar OS

Disregard. I didn't see the account subpanel on the Project detail view.

    Hi Superman

we are just starting to look at Sugar and I would like to understand your response better as I thin it will help us map our processes/entities to Sugar.

    1. If I understand correctly, a sub panel for a module/entity cannot include a module/entity to wchich is has a 1:M relationship. Is this because of the way that the page has been set up in the sub panels, or because of some data/design issue?

    2. is there a list/inventory of entity relationships?

    many thanks

There is Project subpanel (in the bottom) in Account detail view.

    1. let's suppose that Bugs module has 1:M relationship w/ Cases module. In that case, when you look at Bugs detail view you may see in basic information link to a Case record, Sugar dont need to show this info in Subpanel. But, when you go to these case record detail view, you may see Subpanel of Bugs module which will show all Bugs' records which has relation w/ current case record.

    2. look for it on this forum (sussiewilliams as far as i remember has published someth like that) or at SugarWiki
