Default Adding contact fields to Opportunity listview

I am the SugerCRM trial user in our office. The users to be and I all prefer working from a list of open opportunities. We scan the list, and decide what action to take based on our overall knowledge of the opportunity. All of of us are contact centric rather than account centric. The default opportunities listview would be perfect if it displayed the contact name, phone, and/or email. When I look at the relationships in Studio, there is an existing relationship between opportunities and contacts, but no contact field(s) exist in the opportunities listview selections in studio. How do I get them to show up?

I have a feeling I am missing something that should be obvious in the relationships.

Or - is there a better work flow option already built into SugerCRM?

on the presumption that if you are going to follow up a particular opportunity and update it ... then by clicking on the opportunity ... alll the contact and account information is available in the opportunity sub panels.

if you want it to appear in the lisview, you're going to have to cut some custom code

That's what I was afraid of.

Unfortunately having the info in the listview was the goal. Even the contact name would help considerably, and I was hoping to be able to easily display a linked contact. Adding a separate contact field to the opportunity record seems a waste, given what SugarCRM is capable of overall.

Has anyone found a solution and can share? We're having the same issues. I used sugar professional at another company and we could pull reports but we're now using CE and I can't find any way to get the contact information (emails) associated with each opportunity.

    Any ideas?
