address fields automatically fill within an opportunity

Dear all,

Question.

Within the opportunity module I want to select a customer and after that automatically fill the opportunity fields with the data of the address fields (shipping address) (e.g. this is the same functionality with sales stage and the systems put down the related percentage.)

So, after I have selected the customer then the system fil the shipping address fields.

Hi Edwin

I suppose you already created a custom field Address on Opportunities module.
So you need to take a look into modules/Contacts/metadata/editviewdefs.php, look for primary_address and follow the same displayParams attribute.

Obviously you will need to modify some details on displayParams attribute according to the prefix fo your Address field.
